Today we celebrate the launch of the first episode of Ask Jim Haynes!
This is especially exciting because Jim is a natural for a podcast — in 1973, with the encouragement of John Lennon and Yoko Ono — and a little bit of money and a gifted tape recorder from Mick Jagger, Jim launched the “Cassette Gazette”. The first Cassette Gazette featured San Francisco City Lights Books founder/publisher Lawrence Ferlinghetti and author Charles Bukowski.
In this inaugural episode, Jim chats with host Martin Belk on ideas for theatre in the face of Covid, and explored the landscape of an ever-changing world.
